<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
Over the years, with its vibrant colours, diverse culture and varied architecture, influenced by</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
various rulers, India has to be known as one of the most favourable destinations for photographers.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
Here are some of the most popular locations for photo opportunities.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
1. Taj Mahal- There is no doubt that this wonderful monument has put India on the</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
international travel map not only for its historical significance but also for its beautiful</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
architectural details. Taj Mahal is best photographed early morning or just as the sun starts</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
descending to get beautiful soft light on it. While it has been photographed from every</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
angle look for unusual perspectives or add some human interest into the foreground to</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
make your pictures stand out.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
2. Rajasthan- This north western state is a repertoire of art and culture. Vivid colours can be</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
found in the brightly coloured clothing of the local people while, busy markets, beautiful</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
monuments and forts and the energetic festivals of Rajasthan make for great photography</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
subjects.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
3. Street Life – India’s markets provide an impressive amount of subjects for photo-</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
enthusiasts. Close portraits, the arduous lives of push-cart vendors, heaps of fresh</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
vegetables, a splash of colourful dresses and sparkling jewellery shops all lend themselves as</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
great subjects for your lens.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
4. Wildlife - India is known for its thriving wildlife in the vast stretches of forests. From</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
Kaziranga in the North East to the Deccan region with five prominent reserves, there is no</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
shortage of great wildlife destinations in India. Use the help of local experts to get you the</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
good spots on watchtowers. Jim Corbet, Pench, Kanha, Ranthambore and Gir are some of</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
the national reserves which you may like to visit. Don’t forget to carry a zoom lens for this</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
one.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
5. Varanasi- Having acquired multiple sobriquets ‘Forest of Bliss’, ‘Kashi’ and ‘Anandvan’,</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
Varanasi is truly a photographers delight. One of the oldest cities in the world, nothing here</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
would escape your awe – whether it’s the morning rituals on the ghats, the evening arti or</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
the narrow streets accommodating a plethora of fantastic subjects.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
6. Kingdoms of Grandeur – While Rajasthan is replete with monuments and forts, the</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
Southern pride lies in the Vijaynagar Kingdom of Hampi and remains of Tipu Sultan’s</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
eminent rule. The ruins of Hampi are much loved by photographers; miles of boulders</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
appear to be strewn around carelessly, making this a spell-bounding topography. The cities</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
of Mysore and Srirangapatnam also hoard decades of history in all its architectural delights.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
7. Trains & More – Indian railways is often discussed as a case study in B-schools owing to its</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
vast network and accessibility to various strata of people. A train journey to get upclose to</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
Indian culture is definitely a must for photography aspirants. Capture the intimate moment</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
shared while offering each other food or arguing over Indian politics or just step away near</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both;">
the door to catch the whizzing topography outside.</div>

One of the tombs in Lodhi Garden, New Delhi, on a lovely clouded evening. Shooting this click has nice memories as the sun was setting fast. Additionally I wished to lick this image at slow shutter speed to get the slight motion trails of the cloud and high F point for capturing the textures properly.

Its an amazing place sowcasing the natures' bounty in best of its form. The splendid scene throws you a vividly open carnival of rocks with amazing snow-capped mountains in back drop and wild mountain trees adding beauty to the scene. Since it was evening time when we reached this place the sky colors are also dramatic and adding to the splendor of this marvelous place.</span></span><br />

Recently visited Osian a small town located at some 65 kms from the city of Jodhpur and comes under Jodhpur district only. Nice cloudy weather gave me the opportunity of pleasantly walking through the streets of this town and interacting with locals. This pic cites one of those instances only. The old man in this pic gladly illustrated to me the history of the town and their culture. He had such impeccable serenity and calm prevailing on his face and body language that I had to ask him for a photograph and luckily for me he did not mind that either. :))<br />

It was a beautiful morning and i was there at the ghats of Banaras to shoot the sun rise. The level of Ganges was well above the normal and walking along the Ghats wasn't really a way one would opt for. But this saint continued his way despite everything, unaffected by what people were thinking about him. Only thing that came to my mind at that time was "Life is a journey" and one needs to keep on moving.<br />

I am in love with this pic. Primarily because I have never thought of a caption better than I had thought for this pic :) Here it goes below<br />
<b>I read through the pages of life trying to learn about it , never knowing that I would end up into a book myself.</b><br />
<br />
And secondarily because it is one of the most powerful portrait shots that i have got.<br />
Hope every one likes it.<br />

Love this pic for its color and texture and the soft blur background. This image has been shot at Lajpat Nagar, New Delhi, India. Its one of the busiest markets around in the city. I love this image for its colors and energy. And the other prime reason I love this image is because it very aptly justifies why it is said that a photographer should always carry his camera with oneself. <br />

On a beautiful day after light showers the building and the campus of humanyu's tomb looked beautiful and gorgeous. But i was not satisfied with the pictures that I was clicking. The colors and textures were okay but the composition was not clicking for me. <br />
After roaming around for sometime i noticed that i could use <br />
fountain to make the composition catchy to eyes and a bit extra than a regular pic.<br />
<br />
Was pretty happy after i got this shot.<br />
<br />
I hope you guys like the composition :)<br />

One wonders how often do we find a piece of amazement happening behind the curtails of the one we are actually targeting for. One such classic example was this image for me. My whole idea of shooting this image was to trap the beauty of candle and its flame and was mesmerized to see the kind of effects the shadow of the glass ware had on the image and how it just over shadowed the source of light itself.<br />
