A Smile With Pride
Nikon D3000
Focal length 30 mm
1/50s F5.0 ISO100
Recently visited Osian a small town located at some 65 kms from the city of Jodhpur and comes under Jodhpur district only. Nice cloudy weather gave me the opportunity of pleasantly walking through the streets of this town and interacting with locals. This pic cites one of those instances only. The old man in this pic gladly illustrated to me the history of the town and their culture. He had such impeccable serenity and calm prevailing on his face and body language that I had to ask him for a photograph and luckily for me he did not mind that either. :))

Life is a journey
Nikon D3000
F5.6 1/80 sec ISO 100
It was a beautiful morning and i was there at the ghats of Banaras to shoot the sun rise. The level of Ganges was well above the normal and walking along the Ghats wasn't really a way one would opt for. But this saint continued his way despite everything, unaffected by what people were thinking about him. Only thing that came to my mind at that time was "Life is a journey" and one needs to keep on moving.

Book of Life
Nikon D3000
1/400 s
Focal length 55.0 mm
f/5.6
ISO 100
I am in love with this pic. Primarily because I have never thought of a caption better than I had thought for this pic :) Here it goes below
I read through the pages of life trying to learn about it , never knowing that I would end up into a book myself.
And secondarily because it is one of the most powerful portrait shots that i have got.
Hope every one likes it.

Absolut
Nikon D3000
Focal Lengh 45 mm

ISO 200
Love this pic for its color and texture and the soft blur background. It was a simple experiment at home with an empty Absolut bottle.

A moment in Eternity. Captured for posterity.
Nikon D3000
Exposure 1/80
Aperture f/5.6
Focal length 55mm
ISO 100
This image has been shot at Lajpat Nagar, New Delhi, India. Its one of the busiest markets around in the city. I love this image for its colors and energy. And the other prime reason I love this image is because it very aptly justifies why it is said that a photographer should always carry his camera with oneself.

Humanyu's Tomb
Nikon D3000
F14 1/15 sec ISO 100
Camera flash on.
On a beautiful day after light showers the building and the campus of humanyu's tomb looked beautiful and gorgeous. But i was not satisfied with the pictures that I was clicking. The colors and textures were okay but the composition was not clicking for me.
After roaming around for sometime i noticed that i could use
fountain to make the composition catchy to eyes and a bit extra than a regular pic.
Was pretty happy after i got this shot.
I hope you guys like the composition :)

The Conflict
Shadow stealing beauty from the lights.
One wonders how often do we find a piece of amazement happening behind the curtails of the one we are actually targeting for. One such classic example was this image for me. My whole idea of shooting this image was to trap the beauty of candle and its flame and was mesmerized to see the kind of effects the shadow of the glass ware had on the image and how it just over shadowed the source of light itself.
